New Build Consultation

In the process of building a new home? A Consultation is the first step to get to know you and understand your goals, budget, and timeline.
What's included in the Consultation?

• Virginia & Team will review your blueprints to get a better idea of the layout, location and scale of your new home & gather all the necessary requirements from your Builder.
• We create a scope of work list for any areas and items you need help selecting.
• We'll review the lighting plan to assure the placement is in alignment with your furniture layouts. In many cases, additional lighting is recommended to focal areas such as built-in book cases, nightstand areas and additional remote safety lighting for stairways.
• We'll review any allowances given by your builder to determine if they are realistic & discuss how we provide detailed plans to get you an Investment Estimate.
• Virginia will have a discussion about any custom built-ins, millwork and rustic decor such as beams & mantels. These items will require special attention during framing & rough-in stage.
• We will also discuss the options for window treatments, flooring such as hardwoods & tile, interior & exterior lighting fixtures and furnishings if needed.
• By the end of the consultation our goal is to determine scope of work, timeline & budget.
• If you're starting from scratch, we offer architectural services to begin the planning phase.

*This package has best results if purchased at least 2-3 months prior to framing.
